What is a sanctuary dog?

Blossom was on the euthanasia list at a city shelter due to being so paralyzed in fear, she wouldn’t survive on the adoption floor.

So paralyzed, when Animal Control found her sitting by a house for 2 days, they thought she might have been injured and couldn’t walk.

She was a huge flight risk, so when I took her out, she was leashed, and she would BELLY CRAWL on the ground in fear, never even comfortable enough to relieve herself, all she could think about was getting back inside.

Fast forward to today - love and security and PATIENCE can change any animal’s whole wide world.
